In one of my earlier posts, "Angelic Roadside Rescue", I talk about how I felt that I was given Angelic or Divine help from a pottentially fatal accident. I have felt that Angels have been a big part of my life for a long time.
I have received help in many ways over the years. I have to share this with you, as I started writing the last sentence, the radio state to play Robbie William's wonderful song "Angels". Wow, suddenly filled with pure emotion and joy - Thank you Angels! Timely connection!
Sometimes in the past I will have had little prompts to take something with me, take a different road, speak to a certain person etc. Quite often if I ignored those prompts, I would regret not paying attention.
In times of absolute despair, I have suddenly felt as if I was being held and comforted, the most warm and incredible feling ou can imagine.
On rare occasions when working with other Healers, I have felt like an Angel was standing behind me, then I would have the feeling of being enfolded by large feathery wings. I would experience feelings of intense joy and happiness.
On time I was heading out to work as a therapist in the Intenive care unit at Treliske hospital. I couldn't find my keys in the usual place. I hunted everywhere, wasting time, or so I thought. My keys finally turned up several minutes later, in the place were they should have been. I rushed out muttering to myself how stupid I was and how late i was going to be.
I set off, worried about driving, as a heavy sea mist had come down. It was particularly thick as I came out of Perranporth. About a mile from Perranporth, a traffic jam appeared. I stoped. Someone was waving cars down. I was the second or third car. There had been a car accident. A van had turned into a crossroads, without warning, the driver did a u-turn back into the road and hit a big 4x4 car. The impact caused the bigger car to hit the hedge on the opposite side of the road, overturn and carry on down the road on it;s roof.
The inident had happened a few minutes beforehand. The police and ambulance had been called and were on their way.
Being a nurse as well as a therapist, I asked the dreaded question "Was anyone hurt?" Yes, the driver from the overturned car. I had no first aid kit, just my therapy towels (white!) and wet-wipes. Needs must! The driver had climbed out of his upside-down car through his shattered side window. He had sustained a big gash from his elbow to his wrist. I did what first-aid I could, then waited with the man until help arrived.
It wasn't until afterwards, when I realised I was really late for my session at the itensive care unit, that I remembered I had mislaid my keys earlier, making me leave a few minutes later. If I had left when I should have, I woud have been at the scene of the accident as it happened , possibly bein involved!
Thank you Angels for making me late.
