Hi, I have just discovered yet another amazing site. This is for women to re-connect with their inner goddess to become creative in their art, writing, business skills. A Bus called Eleanor.

A Bus called Eleanor.


A few years I was told an eerie story about an old fashioned double-decker bus, the type where you hopped on the back and the driver had a separate compartment.
A business man was a collector of old cars and liked to fix them up in his spare time. He had heard a red London double-decker bus had become available to buy down here in Cornwall. This had been a long-held secret ambition that he would eventually track down this type of bus. He would call it “Lady Eleanor”.
The man travelled down to Cornwall on a train, getting off at Truro, where he was met by the current owner of the bus, who fortuitously happened to also be a taxi driver. They travelled out of Truro into the country-side then down some country lanes until he came to a farm with a large barn. The owner used his barn to store vintage vehicles, of which he had a fairly large collection.
The bus was in one corner of the barn on it’s own, which the man thought odd, but didn’t make anything of it. As he looked around, he could see a variety of other vehicles grouped together in other areas of the barn. The bus had been given a good clean, with the number 13 Oxford Circus on the front.
“I think I’ve finally found my Lady Eleanor” the man said, excitedly rubbing his hands together. The man noticed the owner and one of his workers looking at each other, then at him, in a strange way. Before he could comment on this, there was suddenly a resounding crash. Startled, the man asked what the noise was. The three men walked behind where the bus was parked. Their ears were still ringing with the noise.
On the floor , lay a large concrete slab, which apparently had stood against the wall for years. The owner looked at the potential buyer and said that they had better have a talk in his office. He felt the man would probably not want to buy it when he heard the full story.
The bus had had a long and colourful past. It seemed to have a higher portion of different drivers and conductors than other buses. Nobody ever seemed to like working on this bus for very long. It had a habit of breaking down at busy times, causing a huge amount of commotion, then starting up without any apparent reason to why it had stopped. The bus had been part of several road traffic accidents. Drivers had said in reports that they felt the bus had pulled out suddenly, as if on its own and had hit other vehicles.
The worst incident that had happened was that in the late 1950’s or early 1960’s, the bus had been the cause of 2 pedestrian fatalities. A mother and her daughter had been waiting at a bus-stop for the number 13.
The bus had been driving without any recent problems, for once they were running to time. As the driver started turning towards the bus-stop, instead of slowing down, the bus started accelerating. The driver panicked and braked, the bus still moved at speed, the driver used the hand-brake, causing the bus to skid. With horror the driver realised he was going to hit the queue of people at the bus-stop. Most of the people scattered, but the woman and her child at the front of the queue appeared rooted to the spot. The mother then grabbed her child and started to turn away. Tragically she moved to late and was hit by the bus skidding sideways. They were both taken to hospital, but died in hospital. The woman’s name was June. Her daughter’s name was Eleanor.
Why this story is particularly eerie for me, is that the person telling me what had happened at his friend’s farm, was saying I ought to go and see this bus to see what I could pick up from it.
 I felt all the hairs on my neck go up, I had tuned into the story as it was being told. I was shown an image of a tall thin woman in a light coloured rain mac with a scarf tied around her head, holding her little girl’s hand, who looked about 6 years old . There was the sound of a  door slamming shut, which made us both jump.
“I can’t visit this bus, the lady who was killed is very angry that she had died with her daughter. I think I would be putting myself at risk if I went there. My name is June Eleanor.”
This story still gives me the creeps. It reminds me of an ‘80’s film about an evil car called “Christine”.
I don’t know what happened to the bus, s I never attempted to visit or find out .

The Power of Positive Thinking.

Bad habits get all the press. Let’s look at the results of just one bad habit: smoking. Every year, over 400,000 people lose their lives to smoking-related illnesses in the United States. Imagine then, the negative power that exists in just that one bad habit. It is staggering.
Now I want you think about an even greater power, a power that can bring you success, health and happiness; a power for positive, permanent, and automatic personal growth: the power of positive habits. Let’s look a little closer at the meaning of the word habit. Random House dictionary defines habit in this way:
Habit: An acquired behavior pattern regularly followed until it has become almost involuntary.
The important words in this definition are acquired and almost involuntary. Let me ask you a question. When is the last time you sat down and said to yourself, "Today I am going to add a new habit to my life?" I would venture to guess that you have probably never said those words. As you read this article, you will see how easy it is to add positive habits to your life and the great power they have to change it. Think about the words almost involuntary. This means the habit is so powerful in your mind that it is almost unstoppable! With respect to bad habits like smoking, procrastination, and overeating, this is very bad. But with positive habits, this is very, very good.
What is a positive habit? A positive habit is simply a habit that produces positive benefits, actions and attitudes you want to acquire and make a part of your life. Why is there such great power in positive habits to effect change? Because habits, by their very nature, are automatic. After a period of time they can become permanent.
So how do we go about adding new positive habits to our life? It’s really quite easy. You simply begin repeating an action, attitude or thought process every day for at least 21 days. Research has shown that an action that is repeated for a minimum of 21 days is likely to become a permanent habit. Remember that positive habits have positive benefits and you will reap those benefits for as long as you maintain that habit. So now that we know what positive habits are, and how to acquire them, let’s look at some simple positive habits from the book that will help you reach your goals and have a healthier body.
Positive Habit #53 - Make it a habit to set goals
Since we are talking about goals, what better habit could you have then the habit of setting goals? Did you know that the most successful people all share the common positive habit of goal setting? A study was done to determine the importance of goal setting. College students who had gone on to achieve great success in business were asked to list their habits. The students who had made a habit of setting goals were in the top 3% of earnings in the population! It is almost impossible to overestimate the value of goal-setting as a positive habit. Goal setting is simple, yet 97% of the population never do it. By making goal setting a positive habit, you can start placing yourself in the top 3% of the population of successful people.
Here are some simple steps to help you start making goal setting a positive habit:
Step 1 - Define your goals, write them down, and be very specific; capture your goals on paper. It is amazing how many people never take the time to write down exactly what it is they want in life. Remember, you can’t hit a target if you don’t have one.
Step 2 - Determine what the time line is for reaching your goals; set specific deadlines for each goal.
Step 3 - Identify any obstacles that may stand in your way, list them, and state how you plan to overcome them.
Step 4 - Make a list of the people and/or organizations who will help you reach your goals.
Positive Habit #3 - Take Flax Every Day for a Healthy, Trim Body and Lower Cholesterol!
What is flax?
Flax is a blue-flowering plant known for its oil-rich seed. People have been eating flaxseed since ancient times, it has a pleasant, nutty flavor. The health benefits of flaxseed and flaxseed oil are significant and for that reason this habit is recommended as a primary habit for health and a trim and fit body. Here are some of the benefits of flaxseed and flaxseed oil:
Flaxseed contains both soluble and insoluble fiber. Several studies have shown that flaxseed can help to lower cholesterol in the same way that other soluble fiber foods like oat bran and fruit pectin do. A study at the University of Toronto showed that total cholesterol levels dropped 9% and LDL (the "bad" cholesterol) decreased 18% among a group of women who ate milled flaxseed cooked into bread every day for a period of 4 weeks.
Flaxseed is one of the richest sources of lignans and alpha-linolenic acid. Studies suggest that lignans may help to prevent certain cancers. Flaxseed is one of the few plants in the plant kingdom that provide a high ratio of alpha-linolenic acid (an omega-3 fatty acid) to linoleic (omega-6 fatty acids), it is an excellent source of healthy polyunsaturated fat.
A new study has confirmed that the positive habit of taking flax seed daily can help you get a trim and fit body. I interviewed Dr. Sam Bhathena, a researcher at the Phytonutrients Laboratory of the US department of Agriculture, he said, "we have observed that flax seed meal is much more effective in lowering cholesterol then soy. Several other studies have shown that in general, omega-3 fatty acids,lower lipid deposition, and help in reducing body weight."
Omega-3 fatty acids — More than half the fat contained in flaxseed is omega-3 fatty acid type, an essential fatty acid. There have been numerous studies reporting the health benefits of consuming omega-3 fats. Recent studies suggest that omega-3 fatty acids which are abundant in flax seed can help protect you from coronary artery disease, stroke, high blood pressure, autoimmune and inflammatory disorders. Studies on the effects of flax seed on breast cancer are now under way. Omega-3s can also help boost your metabolism, helping your body to burn calories faster.
Flax is available as raw seed, ground seed and also as an oil which is made by cold pressing flax seeds. You can purchase raw flax seed, ground flax seed and flax seed oil at most health food stores. The easiest way to incorporate flax seed into your diet is to buy ground flax seed meal and add it to your food.
· Substitute for cooking oil or shortening in baked goods.
· Add ground flax seed to pancakes, waffles and cereals.
· Put ground flax seed on salads.

The Amazing Powers of Self Hypnosis

Hi I've added this article to show the difference using hypnosis makes to someone's life. I'm already begining to find a difference in how much I eat in the last 10 days, after using hypnosis/subliminal recordings. I'm finding that I seem to feel fuller more quickly and for longer. My clothes are starting to fit better. I don't possess  weighing scales at the moment, but I'm sure I have dropped a few pounds without too much effort. Result!

  I want to share a success story about hypnosis for weight loss. There are so many, but this one stands out in my mind and touches my heart. I was working in the summer of 2004 with a young lady named Jen. She was 19 at the time and was scheduled to undergo gastric bypass surgery. This surgery is very drastic and involved stapling the stomach so that the person can no longer eat large meals. She also already had liposuction but regained all of her weight. Her father had died and all her mother wanted was for Jen to be happy.

As they both sat in my office in tears, Jen told me that this was her last attempt to lose weight before killing herself. After her mom left the room, we began the hypnosis session. While in a trance, Jen remembered being abused by her father. It was traumatic for her to recall this, but helpful at the same time. Jen also revealed that she had "built up a protective layer" with the excess weight. She explained while under hypnosis that the weight repelled men and kept her "safe."

After Jen was out of hypnosis, I invited her mom back into the office. The three of us discussed this unfortunate event. Her mom said that she had suspected that it happened, but never had proof until now. Jen returned the next week and we began working on re-building her self-esteem using hypnosis. This is very easy to do with hypnosis since the messages go directly to the subconscious mind. If you want to do this yourself, just make a tape with positive suggestions that you play in bed each night as you go to sleep.

In the four weeks that followed, I was able to reframe the way she felt about eating right, exercising, and taking care of herself in general. After only six sessions, I told Jen that I had done all the work we needed to do.

Last week, Jen sent me an e-mail with a picture. You see, I had programmed her to continue to eat right, exercise, and take care of herself. Well, the picture she sent looked like a model! Jen had gone from 325 lbs. to 115 lbs! The e-mail was even more inspirational. Here’s what she wrote:

Dear Steve,

It has been a year since our last session. The pounds have been consistently dropping. I eat differently and don’t even try to. I exercise three times a week and love it. Most importantly, my view of life is completely different now. I went from being overweight and suicidal to being thin, sexy, beautiful and totally confident. My mom is happier than ever and so is my husband. That’s right! I am married. He’s 6’4", an architect, and wants kids. I feel like I’m living the life of my dreams. Hypnosis is amazing. You taught me that I could do ANYTHING that I BELIEVE I can do. You are right. Feel free to share this letter with others. I want the world to know about the power of hypnosis and the power of the human mind!

Have you ever thought about using Hypnosis to improve your life?

I have been using hypnosis and subliminal recordings for a while. I personally prefer the subliminal tracks as I can be listening to just music, don't have to be in a completely relaxed/trance state, can be multi-tasking reading, e-mails, free-cell( yes I am addicted to this card game on my lap-top!) and most important, when I'm sleeping.

How Your Consciousness Defines Your Reality

One of the greatest secrets to start manifesting the life you truly desire is learning how to increase and enhance your consciousness.  As your consciousness gets brighter and bigger your intentions manifest easier and faster.  By being fully conscious in each moment it is easier to be free from judgments and limiting beliefs so you can remain focused on attracting the most positive abundant experience possible.   The Universe is always listening and responding to where your consciousness is at.  Once you are resonating with thoughts filled with joy, gratitude, and appreciation for what you do have, then whatever you want to create seems to just fall into your lap! 
No matter how big your desire is, or how challenging it may seem, it can be manifested easier through an expanded state of consciousness.  When your consciousness expands, your mind must rise above and beyond the problem and start to see new solutions.  One simple way to expand your consciousness is to continuously focus upon it.  Just keep turning your attention back onto where the awareness is coming from.  Like the light from the movie projector is doing a 180 degree turn around, and witnessing the bulb and electricity from where it originated.  When you turn your attention within to where consciousness is coming from for more than 30 seconds at a time, you instantly expand your consciousness and manifesting will truly becomes effortless.
As your consciousness expands, its easier to match the energetic vibration of what you want to manifest.  For example, when you are feeling and thinking like a success, you start behaving like one and attracting successful people and situations to you.  When your consciousness is only focusing on your problems and personal issues, it reflects a lower vibration and manifests even more challenging situations or nothing manifests at all.  When nothing changes, the benevolent all-teaching Universe is usually placing us in a “waiting room” where we can have time to enlighten our consciousness, shift our attitude, heighten our vibration, and then effortlessly receive the positive end result we desire.  When feelings of impatience, unworthiness, lack, and fear are replaced with patience, worthiness, abundance and love, then your desired outcome effortlessly shows up in the most mysterious way.
